Support Our Area Nonprofit Organizations in This Year’s
Giving Challenge!
On Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27, from Noon to Noon, community residents in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties have an opportunity to support our community nonprofit organizations in the 2022 Giving Challenge, presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
For many of our area animal groups, shelters and nonprofit animal organizations, the Giving Challenge is the largest fund-raiser of the year, with gifts from loyal supporters but also with matching, dollar-for-dollar donations for credit card gifts between $25 and $100 that are made possible by The Patterson Foundation. In addition, there also are special financial prizes and incentives that increase the funds raised for all participating nonprofit organizations.
Below is a list of Suncoast animal groups and shelters in alphabetical order that are participating in the 2022 Giving Challenge (Phone numbers have been provided, where available.). Your donations can be made on your favorite animal group or shelter’s website or you can make a donation online at www.givingchallenge.org and search for the name of the group you would like to support.
If your group/shelter is participating in the 24-hour fund-raising event but is not included here, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page and you will be added to the list.
